Six of my favorite verses shared with you
VERSE 2 — Proverbs 3:5-6
I got this — those three words have cost me more than I can count
But submit my mind my heart my whole self
And He straightens the path
Every time
Even when I can't see it yet
VERSE 3 — Psalm 34:18
I know what crushed in spirit feels like
I've lived there
This verse was my lifeline
Because it didn't promise the pain would stop
He promised me He'd save me
Not how
Just that he would
VERSE 4 — James 1:5
Never dawned on me I could pray for wisdom
Not for real life
Not for the hard stuff
Day I found this verse — sliced right through me
Now it's a regular rhythm
I ask
He answers
That simple
That profound
VERSE 5 — 1 Peter 1:7
The fire ain't to destroy me
It's to refine me
Melt me down so I cool and harden into a stronger man
With purified faith
VERSE 6 — Psalm 119:11
I used to think memorizing scripture was unnecessary
I was wrong
Those words tucked away — Spirit pulls them up faster than I can find them on my phone
Off grid in the dark
He still speaks
VERSE 7 — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
God comforted me in my pit
